03/Logistics

What we bring. What your school provides.

We arrive self-sufficient. Your coordinator's checklist is short — and we share it with the confirmation.

Packed in our van

JOVE brings

  • Trainers2 founders and 2 trained facilitators run the sessions; 1 media lead runs the shoot.
  • All kits & toolsA build kit for every station of 4–5 students, plus tools, multimeters and spares.
  • ConsumablesCells, LEDs, cardboard, tape and wires — reset and refilled between batches.
  • CertificatesA certificate for every participant, handed over at the closing ceremony.
  • WorksheetsGrade-specific worksheets so the learning carries on in class.
  • Projector backupOur own portable projector, speaker and wireless mic — in case a hall has none.
  • Film crew & droneFrameMind AI Studio crew for your free Media Pack. Drone flights follow local rules and your permission.

Ready on campus

Your school provides

  • Halls or classroomsTwo rooms for the parallel sessions (Hall A & Hall B), plus an assembly space for the opening and closing.
  • TablesOne table per build station — about 24–30 per hall.
  • Power pointsA few working sockets in each hall for laptops, the projector and charging.
  • Projector / screenIf you have one. If not, we bring ours.
  • Student listsNames by grade and section before the day — for batches and certificates.
  • Photo & drone permissionThe school's go-ahead for photography and drone shots. We share consent forms; faces are blurred on request.
  • A teacher in each sessionOne school teacher per batch, alongside our trainers, for class management.
04/Curriculum alignment

Built around whatyour students already learn.

Sessions are designed to support NEP 2020's push for experiential learning and coding, board science and computer outcomes, and the Atal Tinkering Lab way of working.
NEP01

NEP 2020

National Education Policy

  • Experiential, hands-on learning — every student builds and tests something real
  • Play- and toy-based discovery for the foundational years
  • Coding and computational thinking introduced early, as NEP recommends
  • Teamwork, problem-solving and communication at every station
BRD02

CBSE · ICSE · State Boards

Science & computer outcomes

  • Science: electricity and simple circuits, light, motion, energy and sensing
  • Computing: algorithms, sequencing, block and text coding
  • Grades 9–10: complements AI and computer-applications coursework with real models
  • Mapped grade by grade, so it supports the syllabus rather than repeating it
ATL03

Atal Tinkering Labs

ATL framework

  • Uses the same building blocks: electronics, sensors, microcontrollers and robotics
  • A strong warm-up for schools with an ATL — students arrive knowing the tools
  • A practical first step for schools still planning a lab
  • Projects end in a showcase, in the ATL spirit of making and sharing

JOVE is an independent programme. References to NEP 2020, CBSE, CISCE, State Boards and the Atal Tinkering Lab framework describe how our sessions support their stated learning goals — they do not imply affiliation with or endorsement by any of these bodies.

05/Safety

Safe by design.Supervised all day.

Children's safety comes before every build, every shot and every drone flight.

Low-voltage kits

Every build runs on battery packs or 5 V USB power — students never handle mains wiring. Tools are checked and counted in and out.

Verified trainers

Every JOVE trainer is background-verified, trained on our safety SOP and child-protection policy, and works under a founder's supervision.

1 trainer : ~60 students

Plus a school teacher in every batch. On a JOVE Day the team on site is 2 founders, 2 trainers and 1 media lead.

Consent-first filming

Photo and drone shots only with the school's permission and under local drone rules. Consent forms are collected and faces are blurred on request.

Fig. — Supervision ratio1 : 60
About 60 students per JOVE trainer, with a school teacher in every batch for class management. Larger grade groups run as extra batches.
